LOS TU 2nd Annual Fund Raiser BBQ is June 14th from 2-7 at Lake Logan

 

Our second annual BBQ fund raiser will be Saturday June 14th from 2-7 at Lake Logan.  This is our major fund raiser for the year.  So, we are hoping that everyone in the Chapter can help support this function.  The money raised will be used to sponsor campers at RiverCourse and Casting for Recovery.  In addition, the money will be used for cold water conservation activities as they present themselves.  One of the unique features of the LOS chapter of TU is that our philosophy is to spend any money we raise over the next 12 months.  Because of this philosophy, we do not have have 10's of thousands of dollars in reserve like a lot of chapters do.  This makes our annual fund raiser of great importance to continue to support the many great projects and initiatives we are involved with in Western North Carolina.

Ticket prices are $25.00 for adults and $10.00 for children 6 - 12.  Children 5 and under get in free of charge.  Adult ticket prices on June 14 at the fundraiser will be $30.00.  Every ticket purchased also includes entry into a drawing for one night's stay at the Sourwood Inn.
